Candy & Treats

Members of the university community provide valuable support by donating candy and treats for distribution at Longhorn Halloween. Anyone wishing to contribute candy or non-food Halloween trinkets for distribution at the event may deliver the items to the welcome kiosks at 24th Street and Whitis Avenue, and at the Pickle Research Campus. Candy donations can also be taken to offices in parking facilities on the main campus. These locations are air-conditioned and best for chocolate candy.

Candy will be accepted from Monday, September 30 through Thursday, October 24.

For safety purposes, candy must be donated in the original wrapping. All candy is screened prior to distribution. Perishable items such as fruit or home baked goods will not be accepted.

Cash Contributions

Cash contributions to help purchase candy and treats are also welcomed. Donations may be made online. Checks should be made payable to “The University of Texas at Austin” and coded “Longhorn Halloween” in the memo line.

Please do not send cash through campus mail.
